We’re the owners, Levi and Zach. Both of us grew up in Southwest Missouri hunting, fishing, shooting, and living our lives in the great outdoors, enjoying every minute of it. We both had to grow up at some point, (at least to somewhat modern standards) and joined the US Army in our late teens.
We cannot guarantee to always have the newest and greatest thing that came out 20 minutes ago, or have the absolute cheapest thing on the market, but what we will guarantee is that if you choose to do business with us, you will be greeted with kindness, respect, gratitude, and maybe even a little ill fated humor if we think you can handle it. We hope to be your go to choice for fishing, hunting, shooting, and accessories you want and the local resources you can count on to supply your items, or just listen to the latest hunting and fishing stories.

I was born in 1990 to an outdoor active family near Joplin, MO. I spent my childhood addicted to deer hunting mainly, with minor addictions to fishing and waterfowl hunting. At 17, I joined the US Army and prior to leaving for training, met my future wife, Katie Hardcastle (yes, Zachs older sister haha). After training, and prior to my first deployment, Katie and I were married in April, 2010, followed closely by my first deployment to Iraq from late 2010 to mid-2011 (sounds like a great military marriage story if anyone has ever seen one, but somehow, she stuck around). After deployment 1, I returned home, started my college journey, but soon found out deployment number 2 was already coming. Late 2012, I was prepping for and beginning travel for a 9 month trip to Afghanistan. While there, I found and applied for my military dream job which is called US Army Prime Power. I spent the last 7 years of my time in the army with Prime Power as a Medium Voltage Electrical Technician. Once complete with that, my wife and I landed in Youngstown, OH with a challenging career as an electrical test technician which eventually led to Project Manager in the industry. 5 crazy short years later, Katie and I have adopted 7 children and are currently working on number 8. Long story short, we needed to be closer to home and family, so we relocated to the Kimberling City area (with Zach, but I’m sure you’ll see how his timeline added up to ours soon) and Zach and I finally figured out how to open our dream store offering the products that have brought us so much enjoyment over the years.
Zach Hardcastle

I was born in 1996 in Joplin MO. I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad all over southwest Missouri. My true passion has always been fishing whether it be for bass, crappie, catfish, trout, or paddlefish. My greatest memories are waking up early on a Saturday morning and going fishing with my dad at Roaring River in Cassville MO. I first met Levi at a young age when he began dating my sister Katie while they were in high school. Little did I know the lifelong relationship that both of our families would embark upon. I met my wife Lauran in my junior year of high school, and I joined the Army my senior year. We were married in July of 2016, and welcomed our first daughter in May of 2017 while stationed in Fort Hood TX. I was deployed to Iraq in 2018 for 9 months serving as a combat engineer. After returning to the US, we moved to Fort Drum NY where I fell in love with the outdoors yet again. The experiences I had fishing for salmon, steelhead trout, walleye, and bass are some that I still think about often. After leaving Fort Drum, the last 4 years of my military career were spent in Fort Benning GA. Where I deployed to South America for 5 months in 2021 and had our other two children in 2022 and 2024. I completed my service in 2024 due to being medically retired after serving 10 years in the US Army. My wife and I decided to relocate our family so that we could be closer to our support system and those we love. The idea of M&H came from our love and passion for the outdoors, and fostering a safe experience for those to enjoy it. We believe as a family owned store, we can create a trust and bond in our community that provides the hometown feel we all know and trust.
